HDD crossing of the A6 Motorway21-07-2010 963 m. long HDD crossing of the A6 Motorway near the Dutch town of Emmeloord successfully completed.Nacap was awarded the contract for the construction of a 20.5 km long 16" [DN400] gaspipeline between Swifterband and Emmeloord in The Netherlands. The 2.800 metres long crossing of the Ketelmeer lake is the eyecatcher of this project. There were also several more common HDD crossings to accomplish. One of these is the 963 metres long crossing of the A6 Motorway near the town of Emmeloord. The entry point of this drill, which was completed in June, is situated in an urban setting. Below a few pictures of this HDD.
