 The scope of the project incorporates the looping construction of approximately 940 kilometers of 18" gas pipeline from Wallumbilla in South East Queensland to Moomba in South Australia.

The contract is conditional on Epic obtaining financial close. Nacap expects it will be able to finalise the plans to commence pipeline installation mid 2010, with facilities construction likely to commence in Nacap's Victorian workshop from March 2010. Mark Bumpstead, Regional Manager Australia and Asia Pacific comments: "Although Nacap has been working with Epic on the QSN3 opportunity for nearly 12 months, we were in a position to execute this contract because of our reputation and ability to deliver safe and compliant projects over the last 6 years.
