E.ON-Ruhrgas AG - natural gas pipeline Lauterbach – Scheidt
In August 2006, E.ON-Ruhrgas AG awarded Nacap GmbH the contract for construction of a DN 1000 natural gas pipeline with a standard pressure of 100 bar including 2 line stations (fittings) and a scraper station as well as the gas pressure control and measuring plant in Scheidt.
The pipeline will be 43.15 km in length and is one of three sections of the new approximately 125 km pipeline to be constructed between Lauterbach and Scheidt.
It will run from Lauterbach through the province of Hessen and Rhineland-Palatinate to Scheidt, where the gas pressure control and measuring plant will also be built.
The pipeline crosses a.o. the rivers Lahn and Elbbach, where it will be built by means of the open cut construction method, as well as the A3 motorway and the Frankfurt-Cologne ICE high speed railway line, which will be realised as a micro-tunnel.
The gas pressure control and measuring plant in Scheidt is a major component of our assignment and consists of a 5-rail plant with a maximum load per rail of 450,000 m³ per hour.
The project will be realised as a turnkey project, including planning, supply, construction and commissioning.
The pipeline will be constructed in 2007. |
