Nacap / Suedrohrbau was recently awarded Phase II of the SHY-1 Expansion Project. The contract signing ceremony took place on 2 September 2007. The scope of work comprises the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of three pipeline loops and tie-ins to the existing East/West NGL pipeline as follows: Loop 1, SGP to KM 958 - DN750 (30"). X 206km long Loop 2, PS # 8 to KM 220 - DN750 (30"). X 308 km long Loop 3, KM 65 to YGP - DN750 (30"). X 71 km long

The scope of work also includes all associated works such as scraper traps, mainline valves, cathodic protection, communication and installation of two major pumps, air-compressors, leak detection system for the whole pipeline (old and new). Nacap / Suedrohrbau is already mobilized on this project with the detailed engineering design work and procurement well in progress and the project is slated for completion towards January 2010.
