HDD and Landfalls

hdd-243.jpg

Pipeline and cable routes very often cross major roads, railways, waterways and existing underground services, in addition to passing through congested urban developments and environmentally sensitive areas. Because of the disruption caused and the environmental impact, the conventional 'open-cut' installation methods are gradually being replaced by various trenchless techniques. In addition to Nacap's micro-tunnelling, hammering and auger-boring capability, we have also established ourselves as a leader in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD). With drilling spreads ranging from 60T to 400T located worldwide, we are well-positioned to meet all of our clients' requirements. Since our inception in the 60s, we have successfully completed more than 700 HDD crossings around the world, in all types of ground conditions, for cables and pipes measuring up to 1,200mm (48") in diameter and 2,175m in length.
