Pipelines

Laying pipelines is a specialist activity, especially when it is about large diameter pipelines. Planning, logistics and construction become more challenging when project size increases, and Nacap has the people, equipment and competences to complete complex projects in time, with minimal incidents and to full satisfaction of our customers.

Nacap has earned an excellent reputation in this field, and is strongly positioned in various regions around the world. Over the past 45 years we have laid over 45,000 km of underground pipelines ranging in diameter from 250 to 1,500 mm (10" to 60") and reaching lengths of 2,000 km, for the transmission of oil, gas, water and chemicals. From feasibility studies, through design and permits, to procurement, construction, commissioning and maintenance, we are able to manage the entire pipeline life cycle.

To be able to execute its projects, Nacap maintains a large fleet of specialised construction equipment. Nacap's pool of equipment includes 200 sidebooms, 25 crawler cranes, around 100 paywelders, 25 bending machines and 130 hydrolic excavators, mainly for large diameter pipeline construction. With this large equipment fleet availability and flexibility is ensured.

Nacap works with international project management teams, consisting of project directors, financial managers, engineers and supervisors. Employees move from team to team, to enhance knowledge exchange and to accelerate the learning process. A considerable number of project directors has worked for more than 20 years for the company, constantly adding in experience.
